Non-laser phototherapy systems from Switzerland, safe for home use

Low power laser is well known in wound healing and physiotherapy, but areas treated are small and most devices require special precautions and training.

Q.Light has both medical and aesthetic applications and there are models for the professional and for home consumers.

Large areas, up to 40cm diameter, allow for rapid and even treatment.

Q.Light general and specialised phototherapy (light therapy) devices from Switzerland use a non-laser light source which is approved for home use.

Also muscle strains and injuries, psoriasis, dermatitis, rheumatic or arthritic pain, acne (common acne or acne vulgaris, conglobata, comedonica and papulopustulosa) and Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD).

Q.Light phototherapy lights are European Class 2 medical devices which offer medical professionals a faster, more practical and more economical way of treating patients than low power laser.

Home medical applications include acute wounds (e.g. operations, cuts and burns) and chronic wounds (e.g. leg ulcers, diabetic gangrene, decubitus/pressure sores).

The specialised models are designed for medical or sports professionals who need portability. They are also inherently safe for home use and as there is no ultra-violet there is no risk of burning.

Aesthetic uses include increasing moisturisation, boosting collagen formation, improving skin tone and reducing fine lines and wrinkles (not just the appearance of them).
